TimeSys is a pioneer and leader in Embedded Linux and development tools for the embedded systems industry. They have contracted me on a few occasions for assistance in the development of their website.
In the most recent project I completed for them I was responsible for converting their website from a table based layout to fully compliant markup using CSS and XHTML.
All the existing documents, over 300 individual files, were recoded to conform to the new layout. This was a major improvement over the old table based layout. The code was reduced by nearly 40%, saving plenty of bandwidth and speeding up page load times by around the same amount. The site is now viewable in all browsers, including cell phones, PDA's, and other non-PC web devices and is fully backwards compatible and is viewable in all PC web browsers
