Pittsburgh Digital Art & Design: Photo Editing
I began photo retouching when going through old family photo albums and realizing many of the pictures were degrading(washed out, scratched, glued, stapled, you name it). With the wonders of Photoshop and a little bit of skill, most older images can be cleaned up. They are made clearer, all defects removed, and in some cases are made better than the original.
There is more to this than restoring old photos. New photos can be retouched and even manipulated in any manner of ways. There is really no limit but the imagination.
